Touch sensor mirrors add a touch of luxury to any bathroom—but what do you do when they stop working? Don’t worry, I’m here to help!
In this guide, I’ll walk you through the most common issues and provide simple troubleshooting tips to get your mirror glowing again.
In our interactions with many customers, we have received quite a few reports of touch switch malfunctions. I have categorized these issues into two types: Objective factors and Subjective factors.
The objective factors that can cause a touch switch to malfunction or stop working are usually related to the device itself or the external environment, rather than user operation. Common ones include:
Power is not connected or the plug is loose.
Unstable or insufficient voltage, preventing the touch module from functioning properly.
Damaged power adapter or internal power module.
The touch switch itself is damaged or worn out.
Control module or circuit board short-circuited or components burned out.
Internal wiring is loose or solder joints are detached.
LED strip is broken or poorly connected, preventing the touch module from driving it.
Excessive lighting power exceeds the touch module’s capacity, triggering a protection mechanism.
Static electricity, strong electromagnetic interference, or high humidity affecting touch sensitivity.
Mirror surface covered with non-conductive protective film or heavy dirt, reducing touch response.
